See what outlets are saying about Speaker Johnson's fundraising below:

Punchbowl News, Johnson raises record-breaking $27M in Q3 -- "Speaker Mike Johnson raked in $27.5 million during the third quarter of this year — what his team says is a new record for a Republican speaker during that period of time in a presidential year. Johnson’s double-digit haul includes more than $19.4 million for his fundraising committees and $8.1 million for individual members and candidates. The speaker has now transferred more than $26 million to the NRCC since securing the gavel nearly one year ago."

NBC, Speaker Mike Johnson predicts a new coalition will elect Republicans in 2024 --"Johnson and his affiliated super PAC, the Congressional Leadership Fund, have raised a combined $266 million for House Republicans this cycle. He hauled in more than $27 million for his campaign committees and individual candidates in the third quarter that ended Sept. 30 — the most raised by a GOP speaker in the third quarter of a presidential election year, the speaker’s team said Monday."

The Washington Examiner, Mike Johnson raises record-breaking haul in final quarter before 2024 election --"Johnson raised $27.5 million between July 1 and Sept. 30, including more than $19.4 million for his committees and another $8.1 million for individual members and candidates. That’s the most money a Republican speaker has ever raised in the third quarter of a presidential election year, according to the speaker’s office."

Newsmax, GOP Raises Record $27M in Third Quarter -- "The House GOP leadership-aligned super PAC, the Congressional Leadership Fund, reported raising $81 million during the third quarter. That means the combined efforts of Johnson and CLF raised more than $100 million during the quarter. Johnson has traveled to more than 210 cities in 40 states in support of GOP candidates, and he's expected to visit 24 states this month, Punchbowl News said."

The Daily Caller, Mike Johnson Notches Record-Breaking $27 Million Fundraising Haul For Third Quarter -- "Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson raised $27.5 million in the third quarter of 2024, Punchbowl News reported Monday. The sum, which the speaker’s office characterized as record-breaking, includes over $8 million for individual candidates and members alongside over $19.4 million for Johnson’s fundraising committees, according to Punchbowl News. Johnson has handed over $26 million to the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) since he became speaker."

The Hill, Johnson announces $27.5M third-quarter fundraising in record for Speaker  -- “Still, the sizable haul sends a signal Jonson is a major player in the fundraising space. It could also assuage concerns that accompanied his rise to the Speakership about whether Johnson — who was not a major GOP fundraiser or campaigner before skyrocketing to the position — had the capacity to raise the funds necessary to help House Republicans be competitive, as is expected of modern Speakers.”

The Daily Wire, Speaker Johnson Breaks Fundraising Record As Republicans Seek To Hold House Majority -- "House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) hauled in a record $27.5 million in the third quarter this year giving Republicans a boost as they attempt to hold onto their narrow majority."
