"This historic election has proven that a majority of Americans are eager for secure borders, lower costs, peace through strength, and a return to common sense. As more results come in it is clear that, as we have predicted all along, Republicans are poised to have unified government in the White House, Senate, and House.

Speaker Mike Johnson released the following statement on President-Elect Donald J. Trump's historic victory as the 47th President of the United States of America:

The citizens of our great country used their voices to decisively reject four more years of Harris’ open borders, high crime, increased cost of living, weaponized government, dangerous radical woke ideology, and weakness on the world stage - demanding instead, a return to common sense, peace, and prosperity. This historic moment requires a proven leader with a record of success and the unwavering resolve necessary to fight for every American, tackle the many challenges we all face, and return our country to greatness. President Donald Trump is that leader.

BOSSIER CITY, LA  –  On Friday, in his hometown of Benton, LA, Speaker Mike Johnson and his wife Kelly cast their votes for Republicans up and down the ballot and encouraged all Louisianians to make their plans to vote. Afterwards, Speaker Johnson held a press conference with local media and reflected on 365 days of serving as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.

DES MOINES, IA  –  With just 18 days left until the election, Speaker Mike Johnson made stops in Iowa to support incumbent Reps.  Zach Nunn and Mariannette Miller-Meeks as he works to grow the House Republican Majority. Speaker Johnson's Iowa swing is the latest stop on his 24-state October campaign trail, following his visits around California earlier this week and Pennsylvania last week. 

With less than three weeks left until Election Day, Speaker Johnson completed his latest campaign swing throughout California to support House Republican incumbents and challengers in the state as he works to grow the House Republican Majority. This swing is the latest on the Speaker's campaign efforts in 24 states in October and 40 states so far overall since being elected in October 2023, including a swing throughout Pennsylvania last week.

This week, Speaker Mike Johnson announced raising a record-breaking $27.5 million in the third quarter as he works to grow the House majority. Speaker Johnson raised more than any previous Speaker in the third quarter of a presidential election year.

Since being unanimously elected by his Republican colleagues last October, Speaker Johnson has now surpassed $70 million in his direct fundraising efforts to grow the majority, and has invested more than $30 million into Republican campaign accounts across the country.

Speaker Mike Johnson joined Jewish faith leaders and community members at Young Israel Aish in Las Vegas yesterday to mark the one year anniversary of Hamas's barbaric terrorist attack in Israel. Speaker Johnson participated in a candle lighting in remembrance of those lost and delivered remarks voicing America's support for our ally Israel and against the rise of Antisemitism across the world.

Tonight, America saw a clear contrast between the failed, radical polices of Kamala Harris that have made our lives worse, and Donald Trump’s common sense, successful America First policies that improved our lives.

While Harris lied about her radical positions and spoke about things she would supposedly do as President, and despite the biased moderators shamelessly covering for Harris, there are two problems that Americans were reminded of in prime-time: she has a lifelong record as a Marxist, and she's the sitting Vice President who could secure the border and bring down costs today. Yet when Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris both say Harris' values 'have not changed,' we should believe them.

"While Tim Walz let Minnesota burn, it was Kamala Harris who poured gasoline on the flames by helping to bail out those who held the matches,"said Speaker Johnson. "Kamala Harris helped raise money, not for the people whose businesses were destroyed or livelihoods ruined, but for the criminals who destroyed them."

Speaker Mike Johnson traveled to Minneapolis to expose the records of Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz on crime, the economy, and the border crisis. Speaking Sunday in front of the former 3rd Police Precinct, still barricaded following the 2020 riots, Speaker Johnson discussed how the riots there were an enduring symbol of the Democrat presidential ticket’s disastrous records.

Throughout the DNC, Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats gaslighted the American people and pretended as if she and her Party are not directly responsible for the sky-high cost of living, illegal immigration, and weakness on the world stage that have defined the last four years.
