Speaker Johnson Smashes Quarterly Fundraising Record with $32.2 Million
April 14, 2025
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Speaker Mike Johnson announced today he raised $32.2 million in the first quarter of 2025, his largest quarterly fundraising total ever as Speaker of the House, and the largest quarter in history by a Republican Speaker during a midterm cycle.
"After we successfully defended our majority in 2024, the American people are enthusiastic about keeping House Republicans on offense in 2026. While we deliver our commonsense America First agenda, we are also building a massive campaign war chest by hitting the ground running in the first quarter," said Speaker Johnson. "With Democrats in disarray and already on record supporting a government shutdown, the largest tax increase in history, and allowing noncitizens to vote in our elections, I look forward to continuing to lead the fight ensuring House Republicans are ready to grow our majority this cycle."
Following his re-election as Speaker in January, Johnson reestablished his Grow the Majority Joint Fundraising Committee for the 2026 cycle comprised of over 70 entities. So far this cycle, Speaker Johnson has already transferred more than $5 million to the NRCC and more than $4 million directly to incumbent Member campaigns. These were part of an initial $11 million transfer announced last month.
