DES MOINES, IA  –  With just 18 days left until the election, Speaker Mike Johnson made stops in Iowa to support incumbent Reps.  Zach Nunn and Mariannette Miller-Meeks as he works to grow the House Republican Majority. Speaker Johnson's Iowa swing is the latest stop on his 24-state October campaign trail, following his visits around California earlier this week and Pennsylvania last week

Speaker Johnson joined Reps. Zach Nunn (IA-03) and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) at campaign events in Des Moines and Indianola and spoke with voters about Republicans' plans to secure the border, decrease crime, fix the American economy, and restore peace through strength. He was joined in this Iowa swing by Reps. Ron Estes (KS-04), Adrian Smith (NE-03), and Chairman Jason Smith (MO-08).

Before his stops in Iowa, Speaker Johnson campaigned in Nebraska for Rep. Don Bacon (NE-02) and will host the second stop on his American Revival Tour today in Freeland, Michigan.

After his swing in Iowa, Speaker Johnson released the following statement:

"Our House majority depends on strong and faithful conservatives like Zach Nunn and Marianette Miller-Meeks. Iowans, like all Americans, deserve safer streets, a secure border, and a better economy," said Speaker Johnson. "Reps. Nunn and Miller-Meeks are on the frontlines of delivering results for their constituents and will continue to do so as we work to grow our House majority."
